Assistant Director/Choreographer/ Dialect Coach: SILENT NIGHT, SWEENEY TODD (University of Kentucky-Lexington Opera Theatre).  Assistant Director: EINSTEIN’S DREAMS (U.S. Off-Broadway Premiere), THREE DECEMBERS (Opera Maine Studio Artists Program), THE KING AND I (Starlight Theatre), A CHORUS LINE (U.S. and Australia).  SDCF Directing Assistant: A CHRISTMAS CAROL (Adaptation: Patrick Barlow, Director: Joe Calarco). Ms. Kivnick is grateful to have been able to continue working during the pandemic, including on: WICKED IN CONCERT (PBS); and SOCIAL! THE SOCIAL DISTANCE DANCE CLUB (conceived by David Byrne, Christine Jones, and Steven Hoggett; Best Event of 2021, Time Out NY), Bill T. Jones’ AFTERWARDSNESS, and Carrie Mae Weems’ THE SHAPE OF THINGS all at Park Avenue Armory. She holds an undergraduate degree in Linguistics with a minor in Spanish from Macalester College, and a Master’s degree in TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages).
