Marquita Richardson is a full lyric soprano from Pottstown, Pennsylvania, now based in Lexington, Kentucky, where she studies with Dr. Everett McCorvey. Marquita has performed leading roles for the University of Kentucky's Opera Theatre (Angelica in Suor Angelica, 2019; Abigail in The Crucible, 2021), in multiple shows for Cincinnati Opera and Kentucky Opera, and has sung in concert across the United States and abroad. She believes in creating a more compassionate world through art and great storytelling.
