Courtney Smith is an aspiring actress, singer, and writer who has loved the arts her whole life. Some of her favorite productions include Bounce the Opera (University of Kentucky), Showboat (University of Kentucky), The Music Man (WHHS) in which she played Maud Dunlop, and High School Musical: The Musical (WHHS). She also is an active member in the UK Choristers, UK Women's Choir, and Bluenote, an a capella group auditioned out of all the UK choirs. This is her 5th year with the University of Kentucky and she plans on working with film and tv after graduation. Courtney loves the way music and theatre has the ability to connect people and shine light on important issues in a creative way. She hopes to incorporate the sense of truth, respect, and openness that the University of Kentucky theatre department has instilled in her over the years into her future work!
