Sydney Carbo, soprano, is thrilled to be back working with UKOT. Sydney received her Masters in Vocal Performance, as well as a graduate certificate in Vocal Pedagogy from the University of Kentucky. In her time at UK, Sydney was part of UKOT’s production of Suor Angelica (Novizia), The Crucible (Betty Paris), UKOT’s Opera Gala, Encore!, and was the soprano soloist in the UK Symphony Orchestra’s performance of Mozart’s Coronation Mass. She has spent two summers at Foundation Bell’Arte’s Paris Summer Sessions and Opera Lucca, performing various opera scenes and roles. In 2021, Sydney was a Semi-finalist for the NATS Artist Awards in NYC. National tours include Les Miserables Concert Tour (Cosette), and Best of Broadway Tour (Young Artist) with Starbrite Productions.
