Lilly Meekin is a senior pursuing a degree in neuroscience with a minor in music performance. She currently studies voice under the guidance of Professor Cynthia Lawrence. Lilly has performed with UK Opera Theatre in several productions of It’s a Grand Night for Singing, where she has portrayed roles such as Amy (Company) and Eliza (Hamilton). She grew up training in musical theatre, with performances at Atlanta’s Fox Theatre (Annie) and The National Opera Center in New York (Belle Breezing Reading). She has also performed the National Anthem at Keeneland and University of Kentucky basketball games. Lilly is thrilled to be participating in her first opera with UK Opera Theatre and is thankful for the support of everyone in the department.
