Anazha Monique Santiago is a Puerto Rican-American soprano raised in Miami, Florida. She is currently pursuing a vocal performance degree at the University of Kentucky under Dr. Angelique Clay, where she is an active member of UK's Opera Theatre program. Anazha has appeared in Miami Lyric Opera's Carmen, Orchestra Miami's The Magic Flute, and the University of Kentucky Opera Theatre's La Bohème as a member of the Opera Chorus. Anazha has performed at the Washington National Cathedral as a chorister under the leadership of Dr. Leslie Alan Denning while attending New World School of the Arts, where she studied private voice with Dr. Jennifer Tipton. She appeared as a soloist alongside Marquita Richardson, Erica Gabriel, and Jazmin Saladerrios in the University of Kentucky Wind Symphony's performance of Julie Giroux's "In My Father's Eyes." She was a finalist in the Hal Leonard Online Voice Competition, the Schmidt Vocal Competition, and the Alltech Vocal Scholarship Competition.
