Anna Benton, a Louisville Kentucky native, is full of gratitude for the opportunity to choreograph and perform in this concert. She attended the Louisville Ballet School for 13 years, training in their pre-professional division as a performer and choreographer. There, her first choreographic work was adjudicated and selected to be performed for Regional Dance America’s Southeast Festival. Her Rooted Forces work, “My Head Lies,” will represent UK at the American College Dance Association.
