Bobbie Dell Akin is from Atlanta, Georgia, where she has trained and performed with Peach Pit Dance Company, Candler School of Dance, and Marist School’s Advanced Dance Company. She is currently attending the University of Kentucky where she is earning a dual degree in dance and integrated strategic communication. Bobbie Dell has performed in The Art of Exchange: Music and Dance Collaborative Concert and Materialized in the Arboretum. This year, she had been able to attend and perform at the Big Muddy Dance Festival in St. Louis and at “An Evening with Bill T. Jones” put on by the UK Gaines Center for Humanities in Lexington, Kentucky.
