A native of Georgetown, Kentucky, Lyon has danced throughout Central Kentucky since the age of two. Previous credits include: Broadway Dance Center NYC, Steps on Broadway, Dancewerks Chicago, Dance Masters of America, The Michael Thomas Dance Center, United Talent Dance, and Barbara Ann’s School of Dance. Lyon has apprenticed with Platinum Dance Convention, led Dancewerks as their National Student of Distinction, and was admitted into the Steps on Broadway Conservatory Program as well as the Commercial School of Dance. In 2017, Lyon won the state title and represented Kentucky as Miss Dance of the Bluegrass. Lyon has also been featured in Dance Spirit magazines for her work in musical theatre performance. Driven by her passion for teaching, Lyon works with a Central Kentucky non-profit, A Chance to Dance, and is an instructor at Lexington Dance Factory.
