Meredith Frankie Crutcher (Director) is a creative and performing artist working primarily in and around the Kentucky region. She received her Bachelor's degree from University of Kentucky's College of Fine Arts with a concentration in Theatre. While Meredith works mainly as an actor, she has recently ventured into expanding her passions for film and theatre to behind the scenes roles in writing, production, and design. Her directing credits include productions of Becky's New Car with Studio Players of Lexington, The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (abridged) with Woodford Theater, as well as one-act productions of, The Attic and God of Texas in Antagonist Production’s “Voices Inside Project,” and Boxes are Magic and If The Shoe Fits in Studio Players’ presentation of the "Ten Minute Virtual Play Fest." Meredith is grateful to have had the opportunity to return to UK's Department of Theatre and Dance, and grateful for the privilege to work alongside the dedicated cast and crew of Blood At The Root.
