Catherine Clarke Nardolillo, soprano, lauded by the NY Times for her “exquisite” singing, has appeared at Carnegie Hall, with the Boulder Philharmonic, Evansville Philharmonic, Johnson City Symphony, Lexington Philharmonic, Natchez Festival of Music, Owensboro Symphony, and the Toledo Symphony. Dr. Nardolillo has performed in operas with the Aspen Opera Theater Center, the Colorado Lyric Theater, Chautauqua Music Festival, Operafestival di Roma, Dicapo Opera, University of Kentucky and University of Colorado. She has recorded two albums with Albany Records, including the original cast recording of Thomas Pasatieri’s God Bless Us Everyone and in his Symphony Number Two. A native of Maysville, Kentucky, Dr. Nardolillo has music degrees from the University of Kentucky (BM 1996, DMA 2013) and the University of Colorado (MM 1999). Since 2015, Dr. Nardolillo has served as the Director of Opera for Prague Summer Nights Music Festival in the Czech Republic. She is the chorus master for the University of Kentucky Opera Theatre, Director of the Kentucky District of the Metropolitan Opera Laffont Competition and has served as Music Director for Kentucky Opera’s Youth Opera Program. She maintains a private voice studio in Lexington and is currently an instructor of voice at Centre College.
