Master Sergeant Charis Strange has performed as a soloist with the National Symphony, Detroit Symphony, Charlotte Symphony, and Nashville Symphony Orchestras. She is the winner of the 2005 Palmetto Opera Competition and the 2003 Metropolitan Opera District Encouragement Award. She joined The Soldiers’ Chorus of the U.S. Army Field Band of Washington, D.C in April 2006 and has performed solos in every continuous state.
