Lauren Alexander, a soprano from Carmel, Indiana, is a first-year PhD student in Musicology/ Ethnomusicology. Her previous collegiate performance credits include Miss Pinkerton in Menotti’s The Old Maid and the Thief, The Sandman in Humperdinck’s Hansel and Gretel, and Euridice in Gluck’s Orfeo ed Euridice. She earned a Bachelor of Music in Voice Performance from DePauw University, studying under André Campelo.
