Calia Budette, soprano, is a freshman studying with Dr. Angelique Clay-Everett.

Recent singing achievements include winning The Barbara Rouse Kentucky Prize in the UK Alltech Vocal Scholarship Competition and being named the 2023 Classical Singer All-State Singer for Kentucky. She was also named a finalist in the Schmidt Vocal Competition, Kentucky NATS Auditions, and the Hal Leonard Classical Vocal Competition. Calia is a graduate of the Kentucky Governor’s School for the Arts (2021) and the Schmidt Vocal Institute (2022).
