Pharel Silaban, an Indonesian tenor, is now pursuing DMA in Voice Performance at the University of Kentucky with Cynthia Lawrence. He previously attended Eastman School of Music and the Royal College of Music. Pharel made his debut in summer 2023 at the Bay View Music Festival, and he will play Sam Polk in "Susannah" at the UKOT this fall. He was recently honored by the Kentucky Chapter of The National Society of Arts and Letters.
