Grace Platt, soprano, is a native of Floyds Knobs, Indiana. Grace is a current Junior pursuing a Bachelor’s of Music Degree in Vocal Performance from the University of Kentucky and studies with, Dr. Angelique Clay. Recent performances with the University of Kentucky Opera Theatre program (UKOT) include chorus in Puccini’s La bohème, a “Featured Soloist” in the annual It’s a Grand Night for Singing 30th Year Anniversary, and “First Lady” in Mozart’s Die Zauberflöte and “Featured Singer” in The Stars of Tomorrow Opera Gala. Her most recent competition credits and awards include The 2021 Alltech Vocal Scholarship Competition First Place Undergraduate Award winner and The 2022 National Association of Teachers of Singing: Second Year Treble First Place winner and Honorable Mention in the Finals for The 41st Meistersinger Competition.
