Grace Ashley
Assistant Director

Grace Ashley (soprano) is a passionate performer and voice teacher. Her work both onstage and in the voice studio is driven by her belief that music is a universal and necessary tool for communication and human connection. Ms. Ashley is currently a Doctorate of Musical Arts candidate at the University of Kentucky in Lexington, KY where she is a Graduate Teaching Assistant and studies under Dr. Everett McCorvey. She enjoys directing full operas and scenes in the opera theatre workshop class. She is a member of the soprano section in the professional touring group the American Spiritual Ensemble. She is excited to make her Kentucky opera debut this fall in Madame Butterfly. Some of her favorite roles include: Tante Marie in The Silver Fox, Miss Grose in Turn of the Screw, Adult Adelaide in House without a Christmas Tree, Witch in Hansel and Gretel, Aunt March in Little Women the musical, Donna Anna in Don Giovanni, Susanna, Laetita in The Old Maid and the Thief, Eurydice in Orfeo ed Euridice, and the Mother in Amahl and the Night Visitors.
