Christina Ritter is an actor, teacher, and the joint artistic director of the For/Word Company, a theatre company that creates new works from the historical record. The company has performed Off-Broadway, in Chicago, St. Louis, Columbus, Seattle, and Lexington. Their play North, was produced in London by BBC Radio Drama and Christina received a nomination for Best Debut Performance for the 2017 BBC Audio Drama Awards.
Christina has a BA in History from Dartmouth College, and trained at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art (LAMDA). After completing her degree, Christina lived in New York City, and then earned her doctorate in Theatre at Ohio State University. While in Columbus, she also worked frequently with the Contemporary American Theatre Company. She is a member of AEA.
Currently, Christina teaches Introduction to Theatre, directs, and leads the UK Education Abroad London Theatre Program.
