CMS Alum Michael Corts is a Senior at Appalachian State University Hayes School of Music. A multi-instrumentalist, Michael is currently studying Music Performance in Percussion and additionally working on a minor in Accounting. Michael is the Principal Timpanist in the Appalachian Symphony Orchestra.
Michael shares: "Music is my passion and life, but I wouldn't be where I am without a better understanding of math and sciences contributing to my musicianship! One day I hope to have my own percussion studio acting as a private instructor or college professor. The only better way to share your love of music than playing is through teaching!"
