Holly Hynes is an accomplished costume designer with over 300 ballets to her credit including over 70 works at the New York City Ballet, where she served as Director of Costumes for 21 years. Her designs have been seen around the world for choreographers including Christopher Wheeldon, Alexei Ratmansky, Stanton Welch, Jorma Elo, Paul Vasterling, Devon Carney, Ryan Nye, Melissa Barak and many new designs of George Balanchine's repertory. She is proud to have designed original Nutcrackers for Kansas City Ballet, Charlotte Ballet, Colorado Ballet, and Oklahoma City Ballet. Besides her Nutcrackers next season you can see her designs on stage at The New York City Ballet, American Ballet Theatre, Ballet Hispanico, Richmond Ballet, Houston Ballet, Holly is also a costume consultant specializing in the recreating of many iconic designs for Jerome Robbins ballets and George Balanchine ballets.
