Peter Horne has an international career as a painter, designer, and technical director for opera and ballet in the United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom. He most recently was the Production and Technical Director for Glyndebourne Opera Festival in the United Kingdom where he now lives. He has also designed productions for Les Grands Ballets Canadiens, Ballet Met, Houston Ballet, and Atlanta Ballet. Though he is most known for his story ballet designs, he enjoys working in abstraction, where he can incorporate his exploration of color fields and light. He is currently working on a series of canvases entitled “Channel Light.”
