Devon Scott (Music Director) is thrilled to be the Music Director for MTC production of The Bodyguard. 

He is a distinguished and multifaceted artist whose musical journey blends tradition, versatility, and innovation. A proud South Carolina native, he grew up steeped in the gospel quartet tradition, setting the foundation for a career that has seen him share stages with celebrated names like Donnie McClurkin, Todd Galberth, Maranda Curtis, and Tasha Cobbs.

As one of the lead vocalists for the dynamic band Fly Fidelity, Devon fuses gospel, soul, hip hop, R&B, pop, and country, creating a sound that is timeless, fresh, and uniquely his own. His commanding stage presence and artistic integrity set him apart in every genre he touches.

Beyond music, Devon’s talents extend into theater and film as the artistic director, vocal arranger, and songwriter for Showtime Productions, where he helps craft some of the company’s most acclaimed stage plays and independent films.
