Andy (Pireli) is excited to be a part of his first show at Mauldin Cultural Center! Sweeney Todd was his first ever show as an actor (in 2011 as a student at Furman University), and he is thrilled to be able to perform it again! Some of Andy’s favorite previous roles include Whizzer in Falsettos, Seymour Krelborn in Little Shop of Horrors, Actor 4 in All is Calm, Angel/Referee in Kinky Boots, and Benny/Iona Traylor in Southern Baptist Sissies. After Sweeney, you can see Andy playing Victor in Cabaret at CentreStage, and in the ensemble of Sister Act at Greenville Theater. Andy is an Accessibility Specialist at Furman University, where he is also working towards his Master of Science degree in Innovation and Leadership. When not working or rehearsing/performing, Andy can often be found spinning a flag in his backyard or writing music for a new musical of his own making.
