Michael Landez is originally from San Antonio, Texas where he began his training with Buddy and Susan Trevino. Mr. Landez danced for American Repertory Ballet, where he performed works by Douglas Martin, Mary Barton, Kirk Peterson, and Jose Limon. He has had the privilege of working as a guest artist and choreographer for the Alamo City Dance Company, San Antonio Metropolitan Ballet and Victoria Ballet Theater. Concurrently, he has worked with students at notable schools including Princeton Ballet School, San Antonio School for the Performing Arts, Trilogy Dance Center, and Connally’s Dance Workshop. Mr. Landez is a Certified Teacher through the American Ballet Theater National Training Curriculum for levels Pre-Primary through Level 7 and Partnering. He is also a certified teacher of Progressing Ballet Technique and a Registered Yoga Teacher (200-hr). Mr. Landez graduated from Texas A&M University- San Antonio with a BS in Biology and is now an MFA Candidate at the University of Iowa in the Department of Dance. He enjoys sharing his love for dance with his students and hopes that everyone can be exposed to the art of dance at least once in their lifetime.
