Evangelist Naomi Kimberly Thomas is a native of Virginia Beach, Virginia. She was

born and raised in a God-fearing home with her loving parents Deacon Leon and Mother Delores

Fitzgerald along with her two older brothers. Evangelist Thomas has been married 27 years, to

her loving husband, Bishop Marc A. Thomas, Sr., Pastor of the New Community Temple Church

of God In Christ (COGIC) and Jurisdictional Prelate of the Historic Virginia First Ecclesiastical

Jurisdiction COGIC . To their union, God has blessed them with four handsome sons: Marc Jr.,

Evan, Aaron, and William Marson. Evangelist Thomas counts it as an honor and privilege to

serve alongside her husband as the First Lady of New Community Temple COGIC and of the

Historic Virginia First Ecclesiastical Jurisdiction COGIC. She also serves as the Minister of

Music of the Jurisdiction.

Professionally, Evangelist Thomas holds a Bachelor's of Arts Degree in English with an

Education Endorsement from Norfolk State University. She served as an English teacher for

many years. Additionally, Evangelist Thomas is a nationally-recognized songstress and recording

artist. Her debut solo project entitled “Best Offering” has proven to uplift, energize, and minister

to every listener. She is also the founder and visionary of Naomi K. Thomas Ministries and of the

First Lady’s Corner, which is a ministry that cultivates and ministers to all ladies being “first”

loved and called by God. In short, Evangelist Thomas is a powerful preacher, inspirational

speaker, anointed singer, prolific teacher, a prayer warrior, and a “woman after God’s own heart”.

She believes that Ministry is not a task, but it is a privilege. “To God Be All The Glory”!!!
