Journee Carter is a vocal performance master’s student of Dr. David Meyer at Shenandoah Conservatory. She is a native of St. Louis, Missouri, where she is active in the opera scene. In 2021 she performed the role of La sorella infermiera in Winter Opera St. Louis’ production of Suor Angelica. In her spare time she enjoys reading young adult novels, listening to j-pop, trying new recipes, sewing, and learning new things.
