Theatre just got a lot more animated! In this outlandish summer adventure, campers will create larger than life characters and develop an original script inspired by animé storytelling. Rich themes, quirky heroes, and a competitive series of action-packed challenges---watch the story unfold at our end of week camp performance!

The Bard & The Blade

July 15-19 for ages 11-14

Them’s fightin’ words! Shakespeare and Stage Combat come together at Writers Theatre this summer for an active and imaginative camp experience! Participants will explore Shakespeare’s language and learn the fundamentals of stage combat (unarmed and sword) through the lens of storytelling and safety. At the end of the week, campers will present a rollicking showcase of scenes for friends and family.
