Run Time: 70 minutes without an intermission
About the Play
- A surprise hit at the 2014 Edinburgh Fringe Festival followed by a four month Off-Broadway run, the play has become an international sensation with productions in at least 63 countries.
- The performance is told in gentle collaboration with the audience. The participatory moments are all conducted very generously—you are in safe hands—and in an incredibly narratively fulfilling way.
- North Shore resident and Broadway performer Jessie Fisher (Once, Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, A Beautiful Noise) makes her WT debut. Director Kimberly Senior, who helmed past favorites Marjorie Prime and The Diary of Anne Frank, returns for her 7th production at WT.
- The production contains descriptions of depression and suicide. The topics are handled with care, and the story is one of resilience and hope.
- Resources on mental health support and suicide prevention can be found in the Digital Program and are available in the lobby post-show.
