Abigail Head, soprano, is a recent transplant to the DFW area from Virginia, bringing with her a vibrant performance background and a passion for teaching. She earned her Doctor of Musical Arts in Vocal Performance from the University of Georgia and has performed across the southeastern United States. Favorite roles include Anne Egerman (A Little Night Music), Despina (Così fan tutte), and Cecily Cardew (The Importance of Being Earnest). When not on stage, Abigail shares her love of singing with voice students at UT Arlington, Tarrant County College, and The Dallas School of Music. She is thrilled to make her WaterTower Theatre debut in the BWYxNTX concert and is deeply thankful for the unwavering support of her family—especially her husband, Luis. In every performance and pursuit, Abigail lives by J.S. Bach’s enduring motto: Soli Deo Gloria—To God alone be the glory.
