Harry Parker has been a Professor of Theatre at TCU since 2003, serving 18 years as Department Chair. He has directed more than one hundred professional and university theatre productions. In DFW, his professional directing credits include productions at Circle Theatre, Jubilee Theatre, Lyric Stage, Stage West, and Amphibian Stage Productions. Later in 2023, his upcoming directing projects include THE MYSTERY OF EDWIN DROOD at TCU, and I’M PROUD OF YOU, an original play he has co-written with Tim Madigan, at Circle Theatre. Harry received his BFA from TCU, and an MA and PhD from the University of Kansas. He hosts “Curtain Up,” a Musical Theatre radio program which airs Sunday mornings at 9 AM on KTCU, FM 88.7. Harry is a two-time winner of the Kennedy Center Medallion of Excellence; in 2013, he won the TCU Chancellor’s Award for Distinguished Achievement as a Creative Teacher and Scholar.
