Emily Schrader is honored and delighted to be back at Weathervane. She has been involved in several productions throughout her lifetime here, but most recently Ragtime in 2023 and the 8x10 TheatreFest in 2024. Some recent/favorite roles include: Cookie Cusack in Rumors (Western Reserve Playhouse), Violet Newstead in 9 to 5 (Carnation City Players), Alf in Peter and the Starcatcher (Blank Canvas Theatre), Phoebe D’Ysquith in A Gentleman’s Guide to Love and Murder (Carnation City Players), and Rona Lisa Peretti in The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee (Avenue Arts). By day, Emily is a speech-language pathologist at Akron Children’s and is passionate about neurodiversity-affirming care and advocacy. “Dedicating this show to you — thank you for supporting live theatre!
