Ava Marie Lee (Ensemble) Ava Marie Lee (age 12) is thrilled to once again join the cast of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat at Weathervane Playhouse! After several years performing in the children’s choir, she is excited to take the stage this season as one of the Wives in the 2025 production. Ava is especially proud to share this experience with her talented castmates—and her mom! This marks Ava’s tenth production at Weathervane Playhouse. Some of her favorite roles at Weathervane include Matilda in Matilda the Musical, Young Francine in Jersey Boys, an Oompa Loompa in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, an altar boy in Sister Act, Charlie the foreman elf in Elf the Musical, a newsie in Disney’s Newsies, and a member of the children’s choir in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. Ava also recently joined Weathervane’s Musical Theater Company (WMTC). Beyond Weathervane, Ava has performed with Rubber City Theatre, appearing as Amanda Thripp in Matilda and Kate in Annie. At Redeemer Christian School, she has loved playing Anna in Frozen Kids, Dorothy in The Wizard of Oz, Baby Kanga in Seussical Jr., and The Bird Woman in Mary Poppins Jr. Ava also enjoys singing and dancing with Heid’s School of Musical Arts as a member of The Mainstreet Singers and Rouge Show Choirs. She is so excited for audiences to join her and the cast on this colorful journey — where dreams come true, and any dream will do!
