Layne Weakland

Layne Weakland (Levi) Layne Weakland is ecstatic to be returning to Weathervane Playhouse for Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat portraying the role of brother Levi! Layne’s most recent works at Weathervane Playhouse include Beautiful: the Carole King Musical as the Assistant Stage Manager and last year’s production of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat as brother Zebulon. Some other credits of Layne’s are Ryan Evans in High School Musical The Musical On Stage Edition at Brecksville Community Theatre and Ms. Agatha Trunchbull in Matilda Jr. the Musical at Kimpton Middle School. Layne has been involved with theatre for a decade and he continues to grow his passion and enthusiasm every day for it! Outside of theatre, Layne is involved in many extracurricular activities and loves spending time with his family, friends, and pets. Layne would like to thank and honor the entire production team, the Weathervane Playhouse staff, the backstage crew, the Front of House volunteers, the wonderfully talented cast, and everyone involved in this production in making it come to life and working endlessly to continue this fantastic tradition. Layne would also like to thank his family, his mom and siblings in particular, for being passionate to him in all of his endeavors, supporting him no matter what, and loving him unconditionally. Layne hopes you enjoy this whimsical production and thanks you for continuing to support Weathervane Playhouse!
