Matt's theater career started in 2018 as an ensemble member of shows like Spring Awakening, Chess: The Musical, Big Fish, and 9 to 5: The Musical with him recently playing in shows like Gypsy (Tulsa), Kinky Boots (Angel), Anything Goes (Ship Captain) and Rocky: the Musical (Apollo Creed).
