Frank C. Comunale (Properties Co-Designer) is most appreciative of the superb team that makes Weathervane Playhouse a superb theatre. With heartfelt admiration and gratitude to Kelli Bird, Karen Burridge, Fred G., Kevin L., and Aaron L. Frank last worked on properties almost 25 years ago on an outstanding production of “The Fantasticks” where Tim Champion and Tom Stephan were superb as Hucklebee and Bellomy (Fathers). Recently, Frank has designed costumes for 6 plays at the “none-too-fragile” Theatre. He is so grateful to have the opportunity to volunteer at the beloved playhouse where his brother and sisters, Steve, Michelle & Martha, first watched a Leslie Lund and Betty Williams outstanding puppet shows at the Weathervane when it was on Copley Road over 70 years ago. Thank you to Gertrude and Frank Comunale and the thousands of the Playhouse’s actors, staff and volunteers that make the Weathervane a memorable, remarkable and special place to volunteer and enjoy great theatre that enriches our lives.Frank’s daytime work is at the S A Comunale Company, the 2nd largest fire protection contractor in the United States where he strives to make Comunale customers happy with a smile and good cheer.
