Geriece Drone is a native of Akron and is excited to be returning to Weathervane for another production. She has appeared in several productions such as Rent (Homeless Woman), Hair (Dionne), Reefer Madness (Mae Coleman), and Say It Loud at Millennial Theatre Project. Geriece has also appeared in Sister Act (Sister Mary Martin-of-Tours), Ragtime (Sarah’s Friend u/s), Aida (Nehebka), and Beautiful: The Carole King Musical (Shirley Owens) at Weathervane Playhouse, as well as Hairspray (Seaweed’s Gang) at Players Guild Theatre. She also appeared in The Colored Museum (Aunt Ethel, Janine, and Normal Jean Reynolds) at Makeshift Theater.
