Layne Weakland
Assistant Stage Manager

Layne Weakland (Assistant Stage Manager) Layne Weakland is thrilled to be returning to Weathervane Playhouse for 8x10’s as the Assistant Stage Manager. Previous credits include Shrek the Musical at Weathervane Playhouse (Ensemble), Into the Woods at Stow-Munroe Falls High School (Wolf, Ensemble, and Dance Captain), and Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat at Weathervane Playhouse (Brother Levi). Layne has greatly enjoyed this experience and is incredibly grateful for the opportunities and community that Weathervane provides. He would like to thank the cast, production team, Weathervane staff, volunteers, and patrons for their continued support and hard work. A special thank you goes to his family—especially his mom and siblings—for their endless encouragement, unconditional love, and support in all of his endeavors. Layne hopes you enjoy this year’s 8x10’s and continue to support the arts!
