Sandra Montevideo (Mrs. Winthrop/Ensemble) Sandra Montevideo is thrilled to return to Weathervane, where she received Chanticleer recognition for her roles in Finian’s Rainbow; Kiss Me, Kate; and Romance, Romance. She has performed in Equity and non-Equity productions since 1990, and was named 2021 Cleveland Critics Circle Theater Best Actress in a Musical for Sally Bowles in Cabaret. Sandra has performed at Porthouse Theatre, Beck Center, and the Hanna Theatre. Highlights include Evita (Eva Peron), Gypsy (Mama Rose), Parade (Lucille Frank), Anything Goes (Reno), Chicago (Velma), West Side Story (Anita), Bye Bye Birdie (Rose), The Prom (DeeDee), and Man of La Mancha (Aldonza). Sandra is Lead Vocalist with The Ovation Band and the Dave Banks Big Band and retired in 2025 after 37 years in Higher Education, her last role at Northeast Ohio Medical University. Sandra lives on Portage Lakes with her son, Evan, who attends Miami University, and husband of 4 years, Jeff.
