Emily Schrader
Martha

Emily Schrader (Martha) Emily Schrader is tremendously grateful to you for supporting live theatre, and for bearing witness to the garden that we as artists and technicians have tended together for the last two to three months. Being in The Secret Garden at Weathervane is full-circle moment for her — she played Mary in her youth (a formative experience she treasures). Other favorite/recent credits include Mrs. Phagan in Parade (Weathervane), Westfeldt/Renfield/Others in Dracula: A Comedy of Terrors (con-con), Rona Lisa Peretti in The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee (ICT/Avenue Arts), and Phoebe D’Ysquith in A Gentleman’s Guide to Love and Murder (CCP). By day, Emily is a speech-language pathologist at Akron Children’s Hospital and is passionate about neurodiversity-affirming care and co-treatment. This show is dedicated to Michael — her “someone standing by” to hold onto.
