Bonita Jenkins, a Cleveland native, is a former member of Milton Brunson's Thompson Community Choir in Chicago. She traveled throughout the United States performing in many churches and concert halls that included the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C. While living in Chicago, Bonita performed in local theaters throughout the Midwest. Recently, she performed in The Black Nativity for several years and Aida at the historic Karamu House in Cleveland. She also performed at Weathervane Playhouse in Dreamgirls, Memphis and as part of the theater’s “Virtual Cabaret” (episode 1, Leap of Faith). Bonita is the mother of two adult children. She is the owner of BRJ Tax Services an independent travel agent when she’s not performing at the theater.
