Esther Thomas is pleased to make her Weathervane debut in The Color Purple. She previously appeared as the Matron in the Canton Players Guild production of Women Behind Bars. When not on stage, Esther pursues her passion for the law as an attorney and her career in public service. The former magistrate is the Director of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion at the Summit County Sheriff’s Office. She also serves as Chair of the Akron Civil Right Commission. She thanks her family and friends “for their immense love and support.”
