Meghan Barylak is gobsmacked at the opportunity to be in The Play That Goes Wrong with the talented world-builders of Weathervane Playhouse. Much of her work in theatre has been as costume designer and artistic director. Her most recent costuming work was seen in Broadview Heights Spotlights’ exquisite retelling of Silent Sky. She’s also worked in local theatres in Brecksville, the Ohio Shakespeare Festival, Geauga Center for the Arts, as well as the University of Michigan and University of Dallas costume shops, and the drama programs at the schools where she taught English literature. Among her favorite performing arts memories are Gwendolyn Fairfax in The Importance of Being Earnest, Rhonda in Almost, Maine, and Mother Leeds’ midwife in Small Town Monsters’ upcoming film Bloodlines: The Jersey Devil Curse.
