Jasen Smith has designed over 100 productions for the Playhouse since joining the professional staff in 2008. Featured productions include Memphis, The Hunchback of Notre Dame, Alias Grace, Les Liaisons Dangereuses, School of Rock, Dreamgirls, Children of Eden, Xanadu, The Music Man, Intimate Apparel, Hair, Oklahoma!, Charley’s Aunt, and Life with Father. Regionally, he has designed The White Devil (Alabama Shakespeare Festival), The Pirates of Penzance, The Mikado, The Merry Widow, and Robin Hood (Ohio Light Opera), The Philadelphia Story, How I Learned to Drive, Much Ado About Nothing, The Glass Menagerie, Tartuffe, The Firebugs, Medea, and Stage Door (Case Western Reserve University), The Marriage of Figaro (Cleveland Institute of Music), and A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum starring Richard Kind (Stephen Sondheim Center for the Performing Arts).
