April Deming stumbled across Weathervane Playhouse shortly after her move to Ohio in 2011. In 2016, April directed her first 8x10 play. April believes the 8x10 TheatreFest is a shining star for playwrights to showcase their work. Although acting is her first love, she enjoys the discipline of guiding an actor through the directing process, to put forth their very best. April has been privileged to perform in many area Theatres. A personal favorite role was Sonia in Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike. Other favorites include: Marilyn in Ripcord, Regina in The Little Foxes and Stephanie in Cactus Flower. She has four talented daughters and loves being near her four beautiful grandchildren. “Thank you to Dave, who has always supported my theatre habit.”
