This is Jerald Lynn Beard's third production at Weathervane Playhouse. She previously was a part of the ensemble during The Color Purple and Sister Act. When not on the stage as an actor, she can be found backstage assisting the costuming department or anywhere needed at the time.  She noted that as a child, she dreamed of being on the stage at Weathervane but didn't know that it was an opportunity that she could take part in.  Encouraged by co-worker, Angela Martin, she brought her son, Gerald, to an open-house event and they have both been hanging around for the last eight years, and she is living out her dreams. Jerald is a graduate of the University of Akron, holding a degree in Political Science, with minors in Pre-Law and Sociology. She has worked in I.T. at Signet Jewelers for 23 years and has one son, Gerald Robert, who also loves being a part of the Weathervane family. Hobbies enjoyed by Jerald include hiking, walking, running, swimming, going to the beach, researching her family history, and simply being a mother.
