Steven J. Satta (Author) Steven J. Satta (they/he) is Director of the MFA Theatre program at Towson University, and a member of the Dramatists Guild, where he is currently a finalist for national fellowship. Their plays have been performed across the United States. Both The Thousandth Crane and Floating Down to Camelot took Audience Favorite awards in 10-minute play festivals this year. Their one-act play Hooked performed at Think Pink!, a gay play festival curated by Pink Pen Theatre in Baltimore. Winter’s Roost: A ten minute interlude in verse – was chosen for the Dark Day Mondays series at Troy Foundry Theatre. Their full-length play with music – Lily, Arthur – has been chosen for the 2024 Baltimore Playwright’s Festival. In January 2024, the full-length version of Floating Down to Camelot will be part of a reading series at UP Theatre in NYC. www.stevenjsatta.com
