Bernadette Hisey has performed in 70+ shows on 27 stages in eight counties of Northeast Ohio. Favorite roles include Mama Rose (Gypsy), Kate/Lilli Vanessi (Kiss Me, Kate), Dolly (Hello, Dolly!), Vi Moore (Footloose), Mrs. Lovett (Sweeney Todd), Mrs. Anna (The King and I), Annie Oakley (Annie, Get Your Gun), Jacqueline (Don't Dress For Dinner), Judith Bliss (Hay Fever), and Woman (A Broadway Christmas Carol). After retiring from a 30+ year career as a music teacher, she is occupying her time with her knitting business (1nanaknits), directing the Avon Lake Women's Chorus, being an organist at two churches, playing Mahjong, and spending every minute she can with her rescue dog, Buster!
