Beloved Obeng
David Alexander

Born in Washington, D.C., and raised in New York City and Virginia, Beloved Obeng discovered his voice through Poetry and Spoken Word, passions that led him into the world of Theatre and a lifelong commitment to truth and connection. For Beloved, storytelling is sacred—a visceral act of honoring the human experience. Making his Weathervane Playhouse debut in The Amen Corner, he is humbled to be a vessel for such a profound story. Beloved thanks director Terrence Spivey, artistic director Maestro Brackens, and the cast and crew for their guidance and collaboration. He dedicates this performance to his Grandfather, saying, "Because you live on in me, I live to make you proud, OG." God bless you all for your support and presence!
