Tedrin Blair Lindsay, a pianist, composer, and musicologist raised in Rome, Italy has been a professional performer since the age of ten. He currently serves as vocal coach and musical director on the opera faculty at the University of Kentucky, where he earned a PhD in 2009 with a dissertation on the subject of American opera, and performs throughout the United States and the world as a collaborative pianist and soloist with such organizations as the American Spiritual Ensemble, the Alltech Corporation, and Festival of International Opera (FIO-Italia), and with such renowned singers as Angela Brown, Cynthia Lawrence, Everett McCorvey, Kenneth Overton, Jeffrey Springer, Gregory Turay, and Ronan Tynan. Additionally, he is the founder of Liberal Art Productions, an LLC business which produced his two solo albums Tedrin (2015) and It Is Well With My Soul (2016), featuring his own virtuosic piano arrangements. Dr. Lindsay also maintains an active schedule as an informative and entertaining public speaker on the arts.
