joined ZACH Theatre as Managing Director in September 2022, with responsibility for strategic planning, management, finances, marketing, and fundraising for the organization. Bringing over twenty years’ experience in performing arts organizations in the Pacific Northwest, she is thrilled to get to know the Austin arts community, and to serve the theatre community by stewarding this incredible community asset. In her first year at ZACH, she has guided the organization’s return to full season of programming on stage, including the launch of patron and donor engagement initiatives.

Prior to her time at ZACH, Jamie served as Chief Advancement Officer at Seattle Rep, where she was responsible for all contributed revenue (including annual and multi-year fundraising) as well as other long-term projects to expand organizational capacity and increase long-term sustainability. During her nine year tenure there, she served on the leadership team to advance the organization’s mission and vision, including expanding programming, engaging commercial producers and investors in pre-Broadway productions, expanding and managing the theatre’s board family, creating and sustaining a more welcoming and inclusive organization, and rebuilding the development department and function. 

Her experience includes Director of Advancement and Communications at Edmonds Center for the Arts where she oversaw Marketing, Development and Education programs; Managing Director of New Century Theatre Company (NCTC), a company which she co-founded; and patron-facing roles at Seattle Opera. She co-created and is the business manager responsible for artist and venue contracting and financial management of Letters Aloud, a producing entity now touring throughout the US. As an educator, she taught at Seattle University’s Arts Leadership program from 2013-2019. Prior board service includes Washington State Thespians (2006-2012), NCTC (2013-2016), Inspire WA (2021-2022) and Theatre Communications Group (2017-2023). 

Jamie received her MFA in Arts Leadership from Seattle University; she graduated from Leadership Tomorrow in 2016.
